MDD 2000: Flexible configuration of continuous axis current

The MDD 2000 multi-axis servo drives from SIGMATEK offer maximum flexibility in operation. If there is a different load on the individual axes of the 3-axis drive due to the machine application, the continuous axis currents can be adapted to the customer's specific requirements by simple parameterization.

To do this, the user defines the permissible continuous axis current, taking into account the total power loss. The specified continuous current is limited by the maximum possible peak current. When the axes are "enabled" by software, the inverter checks the validity of the configured values. This software-based overload axis programming option ensures a high variance, optimum utilization within the multi-axis system and therefore the highest possible efficiency.

The drive library of the engineering tool LASAL provides a large selection of ready-made motion components. This makes it easy to implement motion control tasks.
